About the Ombud

The Ombud shall combat discrimination and promote equality regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, language, religion, sexual orientation and age.

The ombud was set up on January 1, 2006 by merging the Equality Ombud, the Equality Centre and the Centre against Ethnic Discrimination.
