The Ombud’s report to the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD)
The Equality and anti- Discrimination Ombud is charged with monito-ring
that ”Norwegian legal and administrative practice is in accordance with
Norway`s commitments under the UN International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination”, cf the Norwegian Act on the
Equality and Anti- Discrimination Ombud Act section 1 third paragraph.
