Duty to report
Companies shall in their annual report or budget report on measures to promote equality and to combat discrimination in their own company and for their own users.
This applies to measures that are planned, implemented and eventually carried out. Goals and time frame for their execution and status must also be stated.
The scope shall be adapted to the company’s size and other reporting specifications in the annual report. Greater demands will be placed on public company’s statements
Reporting should be used to plan further work.
What should your company report on?
Private companies with fewer than 50 employees
- Shall report on the status of gender equality among employees
- Shall report on planned and completed measures
Private companies with more than 50 employees
- Shall report on the status of gender equality among employees
- Shall report on planned and completed measures with regard to increasing equality on the basis of gender, ethnicity and disability.
Public bodies
- Shall report on the status of gender equality among employees
- Shall report on planned and completed measures with regard to increasing equality on the basis of gender, ethnicity and disability
Workplace organizations
- Shall report on the status of gender equality among employees'
- Shall report on planned and completed measures with regard to increasing equality on the basis of gender, ethnicity and disability
The Equality and Anti-Discrimination Ombud enforces the reporting obligation.
