Facts about sexual orientation
Many lesbians and gay mean are not open about sexual orientation at work.
One out of five lesbians and one out of four gay men have experienced discrimination or harassment at work on the grounds of sexual orientation.
On January 1, 2009 a common marriage law entered into force.
In a 2009 survey, a large majority say that they have a positive or neutral attitude to lesbians or gay men. At the same time, we see that 29 per cent of men and 10 per cent of women agree with the statement “I feel disgust when I think about gay men”.
